A morning walk while at Deer Run Retreat Center in Thompson’s Station, TN
Hello. Today I’m drinking half-caff coffee with cream. What are you having?
Here are a few things I’ve been saving up to share. Please contribute your own finds and current happenings in the comments. I’d love to know.
I’ve discovered this new podcast. It’s three friends talking about topics that keep women up at night. It’s like listening in on an interesting conversation! I usually always laugh out loud at some point. I think you’ll like it too.
August blooms for you to enjoy. Does anyone know the name of this flower?
I love talking about things I’ve discovered that enhance my life. Don’t let this post be one-sided, I’d love to hear about your fun new finds, as well. Plus, one of my favorite things is learning about people–that’s you! Take a minute to leave a little bit about yourself below in the comments.
I spent the summer taking a break from blogging and scrolling social media. The break was really good for me. Any of you take some sort of break?
Y’all, I got crazy bad poison ivy for the first time this summer. Horrible! It just kept spreading and spreading. What’s your poison ivy cure? I bought this special soap which seems to help. It removes the poison ivy oil from your skin so you’re not constantly spreading it. I welcome all the tips!
The Greatest Love, a Korean Drama, is one of the best shows I’ve watched in a while. If you’ve never tried a Korean Drama, clear your schedule because you’ll want to binge-watch this one.
What are you looking forward to most this weekend? We are hanging at home mostly. I am excited about slow dinners and lots of time outside.
As a family, on Friday evenings we have been watching The Walton’s. It’s a great show to watch together, we all enjoy it plus good conversations and questions stem from the content.
I saw The Upside at the movies andreally liked it. Based on a true story of a quadriplegic, it was inspiring and motivational by helping me gain perspective on how much we need others and reminded me how anyone’s dreams are possible. Have you seen any good movies recently?
