Cherry Tree in Bloom

What are you looking forward to most this weekend? We are hanging at home mostly. I am excited about slow dinners and lots of time outside.

As a family, on Friday evenings we have been watching The Walton’s. It’s a great show to watch together, we all enjoy it plus good conversations and questions stem from the content.

I saw The Upside at the movies and really liked it. Based on a true story of a quadriplegic, it was inspiring and motivational by helping me gain perspective on how much we need others and reminded me how anyone’s dreams are possible. Have you seen any good movies recently?

Some Good Stuff to Try this Weekend

tall pine trees lined on one side of the street with the sun shining through
These enormous pine trees are in our neighborhood. I pass them when I’m out for a walk. They make me so happy.

Almost a month into 2019, can you believe it? How have things been for you so far this year? I’ve been pretty busy but enjoying the routine.

Grant started basketball on a local team, so that’s a new experience for us. I love watching him play and after he made his first basket he looked directly at me. (Insert heart eyes) Below are some treasures I’ve been saving up for you. I hope this weekend you find rest and sweet memories.

If you are looking for a good foreign film and don’t mind subtitles I suggest Little Forest (Korean) or The Wedding Plan (Israeli). If you’re not big into International films take a chance on one of these, I think you’ll find out you’re a fan.
