Lots of Stocking Stuffer Toy Ideas for Kids

Christmas tree, mantle with Nutcracker doll, kid stockings and vintage garland.

I had so much fun putting the stocking stuffer list together last year I thought I would do it again this year.

Enjoy shopping, I worked hard to ensure things were in stock and would arrive before Christmas but they won’t last forever…

Click on the photo to learn more and purchase.

Mini Slinky – This Jr. version is smaller than the original but just right to stuff in a stocking. There’s also a great deal here for a pack of 5.

Bean Boozled Jelly Beans – BEWARE these jelly beans are crazy! Half are delicious and half are totally disgusting. You never know which one you’ll get, banana smoothie or raw fish! We’ve had so many laughs with these things. Special shout out to my Uncle David for introducing us to them. And yes, this is not a “toy” but it’s entertainment for the whole family so I had to include it.

Funny Disguise Glasses (pack of 6) – Although I’m a sucker for the original version this group of noses is sure to bring the laughs. They also sell a Christmas collection.

Scented Markers – For those in your home that love to draw and color what could be better than scented markers.

Mini Sketch Pad (Pack of 4) – This is a Melissa and Doug product which claims the “gold standard in childhood play” and we would have to agree. Although we don’t own this specific sketch pad we’ve had many of their products over the years and have loved them dearly. A mini sketch book easy to tote is sure to meet the needs of your budding artist.

Flarp – The laughs are endless.

Wooden Pull String Puppet Ornament (pack of 4)- We have several ornaments like this and my boys love them. I also found one from the Nutcracker.

Rubik’s Cube – Hours of quiet entertainment, what more could a parent want?

Windup Toys (pack of 6) – These are a bit bigger than the typical windup toys. Again, I’m partial to the chomping teeth original but I know kids love the animals.

Jacks – My kids loved learning this “new to them” game.

Crazy Aaron’s Putty – My boys have recently been into putty. It’s great for long car rides with so many things to create. This “liquid glass” version seems so cool. Loads of other unique putty options are available here.

If you end up with some of these things in your stocking I would love to see a photo. You could email me a photo or use #ExploreAndThrive on social media.

I’m very selective about the things I list. It’s mostly things we already own and love or things I think you would enjoy. Thank you for reading!
