Invisible Headband Hairstyle

a picture spilt in two. Left side "before" shot of hair tucked behind ears with ear sticking out. Right side "after" shot with no ears sticking out.

A friend, Sarah, taught me years and years ago. It blew my mind when she first showed it to me. It’s a way to wear your hair down but keeps the front of your hair staying neat all day. Also, if your ears tend to stick out with hair tucked behind them (like mine do) then you’ll love this even more.

We all have days where we want to wear our hair down but the front is flat or weird and we need a solution. This style is also great for days when you need to look more professional. It is a fix it and forget it style.

Step 1: Part your hair. Grab about an inch worth of face-framing hair on each side.

Step 2: Make a bun with the rest of your hair just to get it out of the way.

Step 3: Grab the two front portions.

Step 4: Pull the portions back ensuring that the front stays neat.

Step 5: Secure both portions together with a tiny rubber band.

Step 7: Untie the rest of your hair,
letting it fall on top of the tiny ponytail hiding underneath.
No one will know your secret!
