Houses of Park City, Utah

Exterior street view of house in Park City, Utah - Dark brown with white trim and little girl twirling in front with a pink dress on.

Several months ago we took a trip to Park City, Utah with Brent’s family. It was my first time and I fell in love with the posh ski town. Growing up we traveled to Colorado for skiing but I had never been to Utah. Going during the summer gave the mountains a whole different feel. Riding the chairlifts with only dirt and grass below you is quite a different experience than seeing the thick soft blanket of white snow. Somehow the snow makes me feel a little safer, more cushion you know?

Whenever we travel one of my most favorite things to do it to take a walk early in the morning and check out the surroundings. I feel like I get to know a place so much better that way. The styles of homes, the types of plants, the sidewalks, the early risers walking their dogs– I love it all.

In Park City the homes are built on the side of mountains; old miner houses have been converted to upscale living quarters. Bright exterior paint colors seemed to be very popular which I totally loved being a color fanatic myself.

What bold color would you choose to paint the exterior of your home?

I hope you enjoy the photos (click photo to see full-sized image).
