Dinner Party in the Woods

Grant, my son, has a Winnie-the-Pooh book in which all the characters decide they want to have a dinner party in the woods. It always makes me miss home. Over Christmas (2011) we had amazing weather in Oklahoma, so we decided to have Christmas lunch outside surrounded by trees. It was so beautiful and exciting to try something new.

How to Plan for Children’s Christmas Gifts Without Stress

It’s the hap-happiest time of year, right? Then why do I always feel so stressed trying to decide what to get my kids for Christmas or know what to tell family members when they ask what my kids would like? For the past couple of years, we’ve had a plan which I think works very nicely.

Music has always been a big part of my life. My parents always had the radio on or MTV playing in the background. Rarely does anything move my emotions as much as music.

So much has changed these days as far as music technology but I heard Sony is bringing back the Walkman. Get prepared! Personally I have the free version of Spotify which still allows playlist creation.

I’ve always loved compiling playlists. In high school, my sister and I would create mixtapes and give them as gifts to our friends. I had such a great time choosing the songs and even the order in which the songs were played.
