Dinner Party in the Woods

Grant, my son, has a Winnie-the-Pooh book in which all the characters decide they want to have a dinner party in the woods. It always makes me miss home. Over Christmas (2011) we had amazing weather in Oklahoma, so we decided to have Christmas lunch outside surrounded by trees. It was so beautiful and exciting to try something new.

I’ve discovered this new podcast. It’s three friends talking about topics that keep women up at night. It’s like listening in on an interesting conversation! I usually always laugh out loud at some point. I think you’ll like it too.

3 Most Used and Most Loved Small Household Appliances

It’s so helpful to find machines that make life easier. I feel like we are living in such a cool period of time when our blenders can turn almost anything into a smoothie and no longer have to push a vacuum around our living room. Does this feel like “The Jetsons” to anyone else? Here are a few small appliances that we especially love and use daily.
