Books I Read in 2019

I really love reading. I’ve not always been a book worm. Honestly, audiobooks are usually the way I go. I’ve found that listening is so much fun and I can get something else done at the same time. A win/win. How about you? Do you prefer reading books or listening to them?

The Last Christmas with my Dad

My dad passed away in May of 2017, so the Christmas of 2016 was the last Christmas we shared together. At the time we had no idea it would be our last time to gather around the Christmas tree opening gifts with him.

Dinner Party in the Woods

Grant, my son, has a Winnie-the-Pooh book in which all the characters decide they want to have a dinner party in the woods. It always makes me miss home. Over Christmas (2011) we had amazing weather in Oklahoma, so we decided to have Christmas lunch outside surrounded by trees. It was so beautiful and exciting to try something new.
