You’re Loved

Emotions are high. All the feelings are coming out. Stress is in our chests and chaos is in our minds. Calm and stillness may be on our streets and in the newly vacated office buildings, but not in our hearts.

Money, Tears, and Hope

Here’s the thing: I know many people are struggling financially right now, maybe even you. I’m hurting for you. I want to make it better and magically fill your bank account with enough money to pay all your bills this month. Although I do believe in miracles, I know some bills will still be left unpaid and the stress will be heavy for many.

Resource Guide for the Coronavirus Homeschool Parent

Like many of you, I have been thrust into schooling my kids at home. Homeschooling is something I have seriously considered in the past, but good public schools have always been available. We’ve been pleased with public school, but part of me is excited about this extra time I get to spend with my boys.

I know the idea of adding schooling to your workload may seem very overwhelming. Time is an issue. Some schools are not giving out specific curriculum– it’s more resources and it’s left to parents to pick and choose. This can be very challenging. Even for myself and I’ve got an undergraduate degree in Elementry Education. Homeschooling can seem daunting.
