A Fall Chat with Apple Cider in Hand
Hi friends! How are you on this lovely fall day? Our kids are home from school today due to parent-teacher conferences. I’m hoping to head to a pumpkin patch later, but I’m not sure if I can convince my boys. I’m afraid they are growing out of their desire to look at pumpkins.
Grab a warm cup of apple cider (or your drink of choice) and let’s dive in to some things I’ve been wanting to share.
Recently our church had a Parent Summit. So much valuable information was shared in particular, this website helps parents protect kids online. Check it out!
Who’s got their Halloween costumes? Tons of ideas on my Pinterest board if you need ’em.
I was recently introduced to Soul-Soothing Peanut Stew. It’s West African and has peanut butter in the recipe which sounds strange but I loved it!
Don’t forget to save and press some fall leaves (best to collect after a rain) to make leaf creatures!
This is how I tied the neck scarf. 🙂
I heard this quote recently about marriage, “You should dialogue daily, date weekly, and depart quarterly.” Wise words, if you know who said them let me know so I can properly give credit.
I found the fridge of my dreams.
Is your child asking for a phone? Are you ready?
This Nashville-based fashion blogger is inspiring me and making me really want a jumpsuit.
I can’t watch scary movies or books, I have nightmares. A few weeks back I read Stephen King’s memoir on writing and got a ton out of it plus I could sleep at night.
Would you use a purse that looks like a croissant? I’d do it.
This was a recent family movie night win.
Moms of toddlers, if you don’t follow Taylor Wolfe you are missing out on laughs.
I’m hoping to make ginger snaps this weekend.
I watched Ticket to Paradise recently. Julia Roberts and George Clooney were hilarious, there were a few scenes where I laughed out loud.
This song has been encouraging my soul. “He’s faithful through every season so why would He fail now? He won’t!”
Lazy Genius has inspired me to make a fall dinner queue.
I hoping our weekend is full of blankets, books, and warm drinks. I’d love to know your weekend plans.
