6 Years of Marriage

It’s been six years since we tried to light our unity candle. We could not get that thing lit. Oh well! It makes me think about the dreams and ambitions we had at that point in our lives. Things have not turned out exactly as we thought but they are exactly as they should be. God knew all along that Brent was the one I needed standing next to me weathering the storms, enjoying the mountaintops, and all the mundane days in-between. When I first met Brent the only thing I could think about was getting to know him better. Reminds me of this song. I still want to know him more. I can’t wait to see what is ahead for us.
